Tips for sales

Guerrilla Marketing tips for sales
After reading most of Guerrilla marketing by Jay and Jeannie Levinson's I thoght I would post a few helful tips from thier great book. Some are from Guerilla Marketing and some I use to help my sales but none the less all are good tips we all should be practicing.

Contact

*Greet you prospect warmly and sincerely

This makes the prospect feel more comfortable around you.

*Allow you prospect time to get acclimated to the enviorment
Remember some are intimidated by fit people and a fitness facility . Give them a minute to get even more comfortable

*Engage Casual conversation at first.
You hate sales calls and so does your prospect.

* Ask relevant questions
Keep focused on your service you offer. It is OK for some casual conversation just make sure it relates to your service.

*Qualify this person for the right program

*Learn something about the person

*Don't think of yourself as a sales person but rather friend
*Smile,professional,friendly,listen

Present

*What are the benefits of your program/facility
What do we offer that our your competitor does not?

*Emphasize these benefits

*Mention the facility as one

*Have enough info about your prospect to directly relate you product or service to them. They want to loose 10lbs, how is your service going to get them their? Be descriptive.

*Keep an eye on where your prospects attention is

If their not looking at you, get them talking

*Show all info you possibly can.

pics, videos, tours, other trainers, other programs, supplements etc..)

*Be proud an Confident

know the value of you service and believe in it.

The Close

*Always assume your prospective wants your service.

*Summarize key points

Remind them of these again

*Ask them to make some type of decision

( Would you like option A or option B )

*Let them know the success of your product.

*If you do not close after the presentation chances are it is lost.

If you are passionate about your product you will do great. Know the value of your service and never bargain. Have complete confidence and control of the conversation at all times. Be prepared for common objectives ( cost, Spouses input, time, etc...) you should already have an action for these before the prospect walked in the door.

The Value Customer Worksheet

1. If you continue to provide good service and quality, how long will the member stay with your training program. ____________________________________________________________

2. How much much money will the member spend on your service in one year?

____________________________________________________________

3. Multiply the amount of money spent in on year by the length of time this costumer purchases your training

$___________-

4. The result is the lifetime value of this customer.

$___________

This number should be engraved in your forehead and always thought about for each person who even thinks about your service.
